1. NEERAJ CHOPRA
NEERAJ CHOPRA won the GOLD medal and created history in Tokyo Olympics 2020. He won GOLD in athletics and this was a historic win from india. He won this in Javelin throw at 87.58m. He is the first man who won the gold after Abhinav Bindra Who won the gold in 2008 held in Beijing. Abhinav Bindra won the gold medal in 10 meters rifle.
NEERAJ CHOPRA belongs to Haryana’s Panipat district. He is a 23 – year- old boy. He had more fat at the time when he was child. He started losing weight by doing some exercise. He gained interest in javelin throw from his seniors when he worked out in the field.
He also represented India in Asian games 2018 where he won the gold medal also. He created a record of 88.06 m.
Also he won the gold in Commonwealth games (CWG) by throwing 86.7 m in javelin throw.
2. SAIKHOM MEERABAI CHANU
MEERABAI CHANU won Silver medal in weightlifting under 49kg women category. She won the first medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. She was coached by Vijay Sharma and Aaron Horschig in the 2020 Olympics.
She also won the World ChampionShip and multiple games in Commonwealth games. She was awarded Padma Shri and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award by the government of India in 2018.
She belongs to Manipur State. She is a 27 – year – girl.
3. RAVI KUMAR DAHIYA
RAVI DAHIYA is the second man who won the Silver Medal in Olympics 2020 after MEERABAI CHANU. He won Silver medal in freestyle wrestling under 57kg man category.
He also won the Bronze medal in Asian games and World wrestling Championship.
He belongs to Nahri, Sonipat District Haryana. He is a 23-year-old boy.
4. MEN’s HOCKEY TEAM in Tokyo Olympics 2020 from India
Indian MEN’S HOCKEY TEAM won BRONZE medal in Tokyo Olympics 2020. India won the Bronze medal after 41 year in hockey. In 1980 India won the last medal in hockey. MANPREET SINGH was the captain of the Indian hockey team at Olympics 2020. The team defeated Germany 5-4.
None of them were born when India won its first medal in hockey. But the effort of the young team was so prideful.

PB SINDHU won the BRONZE medal in Badminton at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. She beat the Chinese He Bing Jiao.
PUSARLA VENKATA SINDHU won multiple models. She won the gold medal in the World Championship 2019. She was coached by Part Tae Sang.
She is a 26 – year -old girl from Hyderabad. She won most of the games in Badminton in her career.
6. LOVLINA BORGOHAIN
LOVLINA BORGOHAIN won the BRONZE medal in women’s welterweight Boxing in Tokyo Olympics 2020. She also won two Bronze medals in Asian and World Championship for India.
She is a 23- year-old girl from Golaghat, Assam State of India. She worked hard in the cowin-19 situation to keep fit.
7. BAJRANG PUNIA
BAJRANG PUNIA won the BRONZE medal for Indian in the 65kg freestyle wrestling category in Tokyo olympics 2020. He also won multiple medals in the World wrestling Championship in 2015. For his best performance he was awarded the Arjuna Award. His knee was injured. The opponent knew about that so the opponent was attacking on his leg. After that he won the medal.
He is a 27 -year -old boy from Khudan. Jhajjar district of Haryana.
